- The protein I chose to search for this assignment was a prion protein; ideally a human prion protein. Given that these proteins have the potential for catastrophic damage to the brain when folded improperly, I thought they would make an interesting choice.
- The particular prion protein (PrP) that I used was the Prion Protein [Homo Sapiens], accession AAH22532.
